I really came across the PHA during Covid an though it was such a fantastic idea to bring together all these different organisations and practitioners that are out there doing amazing work, and helping people empower themselves over their own health and wellbeing. I honestly think that’s how we’re going to make a change in the world, by everybody becoming more educated and empowered over their own health, and the PHA is such a fantastic resource to help everyone do that. So, from the idea of hubs where you can go and meet like minded people, the practitioners directory and also for us as a community group to be able to go on there and have ourselves listed so people can find us is absolutely fantastic and I think that’s what PHA does so well, it brings together all these amazing people doing this fantastic work out there and puts them all together in one place. So, it’s a fantastic resource, it’s an amazing organisation run by lovely people and long may it continue!
Shirley Blanche – Conversation Starter Project
‘We came to this timeline to speak truth with courage, to lead, to focus on solutions, to inspire and to help birth the new earth. Somewhere within the love and sanity of PHA you will find a place for your petals to unfurl. Bloom dear friends! The time is now and PHA awaits with open arms’.
Dr Garuth Chalfont – PHA Ambassador: Dementia Pioneers
‘When we created My Medical Choice, our goal was to empower people to take charge of their medical decisions and access natural treatments through holistic health practitioners. As a grassroots organisation, managing the health protection system during the pandemic was challenging. We hoped to create a practitioner directory, but limited resources meant it didn’t happen.
Then, we discovered the PHA. Their professional and comprehensive directory surpassed our expectations, so we started referring members seeking integrative healthcare solutions to them. Recognising the mutual benefits, we became official partners and have collaborated ever since. The PHA’s support has been instrumental in our growth.
It is the perfect partnership. My Medical Choice safeguards members in clinical settings, while the PHA provides a wide range of natural healthcare options. We are thrilled to celebrate the PHA’s 3rd birthday and commend their hard work. Here’s to our continued partnership!’
Nicola – PHA Partner: My Medical Choice
‘I was drawn to PHA because I saw a rare integrity, an organisation not afraid to ask difficult questions and support true informed consent. As a birth practitioner and truth seeker, I needed to be part of a movement that empowers people rather than manages them. I’m proud to stand beside others who believe that health sovereignty is a birthright, not a privilege.
With the rise of the PHA, I am optimistic that more people will gain the tools to understand their bodies, make informed choices, and navigate the health system with confidence. My passion is to support expectant parents in exploring their options within the maternity system—or guiding them through alternatives if they choose a different path’.
Nickita Starck – PHA Ambassador & Partner: When Push Comes to Shove
‘I’m all about freedom, and finding people who weren’t going to roll over and accept how things might play out, but actually do something about it. From the start, PHA were in creator mode; not just spreading awareness in countless online groups, but getting practical from the get-go, taking real, physical steps to make the changes we wanted to see’.
Monique MacPherson – PHA Volunteer & Practitioner
‘Working with the People’s Health Alliance to create a North American branch of the PHA has been a life changing experience that has allowed me to be the way I feel I am meant to be. I am deeply grateful for the sense of meaning and purpose I now have as a result of my participation. As a mental health provider for over thirty years, with a practice in New England, I had been waiting to be part of an alliance that would help return the power and responsibility for healing back to the consumers of healthcare services and so the PHA resonated with me immediately.
I have been deeply concerned about the direction that the health care system in the United States has gone in the last 30 years and could not understand why my colleagues seemed to accept the status quo as inevitable. For the last twenty years, I have been part of groups such as the RI Holistic Healers Association and the Association for Comprehensive Energy Psychology but I often felt alone on the frontiers of the medical field. Now I feel embraced and supported by an international team of amazing people from all walks of life who are willing to volunteer with passion and commitment to a movement whose time has come.
I am profoundly grateful to Lisa Dunnington and the team in the UK for all the support and guidance they have provided. In addition, I love being part of an international team that is working to change health services for children and their families. I have a rich background in children’s mental health, so working with the international team allows me to support the kind of innovative practices that I feel will help children to be their best selves and to thrive. Here’s to many more years of successful service’.
Linda Boutilier Gendron, LICSW – PHA of North America
‘A heartfelt thank you to our friends at the People’s Health Alliance, who share World Council for Health’s mission to co-create a healthy and free world grounded in personal responsibility and sovereignty. We are so happy about this collaboration!’
Dr Tess Lawrie – PHA Partner: World Council for Health
‘It has been a delight to work with so many amazing people from around the world involved with the People’s Health Alliance over the last three years. Since the very beginning PHA & PLC recognised the need for an alternate holistic health and well-being system, one that was co-created by the people and from the ground up. That’s where Positive Living Communities (PLC) came in, as we were doing just that. We have been creating and helping local communities come together and create their holistic community hubs worldwide.
As part of this wonderful relationship we have been able to support PHA and their members in all the wonderful work that they are doing in providing vital services, community and health hubs to their local groups. Our PLC & PHA collective resources for these holistic communities, and our resilience, options and services are expanding as more join us, and both grass roots organisations continue to grow with more people choosing the holistic lifestyle each day . A huge THANK YOU to all those in service to others at PHA, and we continue sharing our collective bright shining love’.
Matt Bell – PHA Partner: Positive Living Communities
‘As the Dental Ambassador for the PHA I am so excited to be participating and practicing as part of a real healing TEAM, with the focus on a multilevel approach to health from the physical to the energetic/spiritual dimension’.
John Roberts – PHA Ambassador
‘Happy 3rd Birthday to the PHA! Wow what an interesting three years from the founding and launch of the PHA and with volunteering to help the Practitioner’s Directory in the summer of 2022. My Wordpress experience led me to being an administrator of the registrations for the directory and I’ve stayed with it throughout the changes. I am happy to fit it into my life at a time to suit myself, wherever I am and as long as I have my laptop with me, as I love to travel as well. I have always been interested in health and wellbeing, so this Practitioners Directory and website is worth the support. We would love for others to join the team too!’
Hilary Whitehead – PHA Volunteer
‘Well what can we say about the PHA! Sometimes it is difficult to put into succinct words such an extraordinary phenomenon. I have been privileged enough to work with this inspirational group pretty much right from the start when we met as a small team at our local village hall and realised that many of us in that room had the same vision of a new health system that would birth a new health paradigm. Since then of course the PHA team have ventured into Food & Farming and Community help programmes on a local but also international scale. Wow!
It is an exciting time to be part of PHA like this, doing just what it says on the can: health for the people, not health dictated by a few people. Together we stand in helping people realise they can take charge of their own health and create the very best version of themselves!’
Janet Wrathall ND – PHA Supporter
‘I support the PHA because I believe in the work they do to make a real difference in people’s lives. Their commitment to provide support for often overworked and marginalised natural health practitioners in the physical and mental health arenas aligns with my values, and I, along with the PHA want to be part of creating positive change in our community. I love that the PHA helps us all bring hope to the unwell. I am immensely proud to be the Ambassador for EMF Health for the PHA!’
Glynn Hughes – PHA Ambassador & Partner: EMF Protection
‘Wishing PHA UK a very happy 3rd birthday! I was inspired by the PHA vision – self responsibility and freedom of choice walking hand in hand with a can-do attitude! We do what needs doing and we’re not waiting to be rescued. It’s the friendships and connections around the country and the world. the support from an awesome network of people and a sharing of a common goal that keeps me focused and committed. A big shout out to all the wonderful members in our WA hubs, to everyone on the Wellness Wednesday Team & to the New Zealand PHA coordinators!’
Lisa Lawler – PHA Australia
‘The PHA is helping to build a more integrated, honest and common-sense approach to health and wellbeing. This has been a refreshing and much-needed shift in these uncertain times. Through their various initiatives—including health hubs and the practitioner network—the PHA has clearly focused on empowering individuals to make their own health decisions. That’s very evident when you see how much fantastic free educational content is available to watch or download. Over the last 3 years we’ve seen wonderful practitioners share their expertise across different modalities, this kind of collaboration isn’t just good for their professions — it’s leading to much more holistic, meaningful support for the people and communities who need it the most. Being part of this shared mission is an absolute privilege and I would encourage everyone to support this growing movement on some level so that they can continue to thrive. The PHA is a powerful reminder of what’s possible when people come together with the right heart and purpose’.
Nicki Shepherd – PHA Partner : Detoxifyme
‘I was impressed by how the PHA helps put the power of healing back into the hands of individuals, instead of experts who often have conflicting motives. e.g. profit. I’m a big fan of money, but when it comes before health, we have a problem. I’ve studied health my whole life, so the PHA really resonates with me. I try to help where I can. The people I’ve met are smart and informed, and it’s always great to pick up new ideas I’ve not come across before. If we all support each other like this, we won’t need to use the flawed system so much. Even better, we’re gradually applying gentle pressure to realign it with more holistic principles. Not to mention the original grounding idea that’s so often lost these days: first, do no harm’.
Ed Love – PHA Practitioner : Health Coach, Mandurah Western Australia
‘I was drawn to the PHA by its powerful grassroots vision and unwavering commitment to building integrative, community-led health hubs. It represents a profound shift in consciousness—one that embraces holistic care, authentic collaboration, and the belief that every individual deserves to be an active participant in their own healing journey.
PHA stands as a beacon of hope, restoring empowerment, education, and community to the very heart of wellbeing. Happy 3rd Birthday, PHA. Thank you for holding space for us to come together, connect, and heal’.
Sarah Chave – PHA International Ambassador
I was introduced to the PHA by a friend who thought I would be interested in their ideas of creating a new Organic Health initiative. I was surprised but delighted when I found out what they wanted to achieve. Bringing the power back to the People. Aiding people to take some responsibility for their own health and wellbeing. Introducing people to an Holistic approach instead of totally relying on the Medical System. Empowering people and creating Hubs, groups where everyone is welcome, if only to have a cuppa and chat.
Myself, and a group of empathetic, like minded people hold Community wellbeing days where we have Holistic Therapy Tasters, Meditation, Qigong, Artists, local small businesses coming together to support each other and create a safe space for the public. I’m so grateful to the PHA for what they have created. It’s life changing for us all.
Robyn Treen – PHA Volunteer, Contributor to Wellbeing Wednesdays
I joined the PHA 3 years ago. I have been volunteering my Homoeopathic skills of over 20 years in South African townships, mostly alone. For me it has been a heartwarming experience to be part of the PHA family and I am honoured to be able to gift my knowledge to this initiative.
For me it has been the most remarkable and empowering to connect with likeminded people, doing the good work of service and feeling part of positive change. High vibration stuff people. I cannot recommend the PHA and the vision it holds enough. I am honoured to be one of the many Homoeopaths within this organisation. Viva the PHA (and Homoeopathy).
Rebecca Sturgeon – PHA Practitioner, Homeopathy
‘Three years ago I saw a post on Twitter about the formation of a new health collaboration. Not having a clue who or what it was about, I signed up. Imagine my confusion when the organisers seemed to know almost nothing about homeopathy. That had to change, and here we are! Thanks to PHA’s open mind and heart, we’re now an integral part of a busy, thriving organisation fulfilling its mission. We’re very happy to be part of PHA’s ongoing creation’.
Carol Boyce – PHA Homeopathy Ambassador
‘Happy 3rd Birthday PHA!
Wow – what a journey – from a manifestation of what could be possible to the physical presentation of what IS possible. The pioneers of this organisation are inspirational and dogged – they will not give up! What has been achieved in 3 years could not have been imagined – beyond the wildest dreams but now we are living the experience.
The teachings: Be brave, Be courageous, Know what you wish for will happen, focus on authenticity and true love and heart consciousness and the truth will encapsulate and physically activate Nature Frequencies. And I know that the Future is so exciting and we want you all to join us in this joy as the mission continues for the greater benefit of The People’.
Lisa Steel – PHA Ambassador & Partner: Optimal Health Group
“I would just like to say that the information you gather us amazing. I use the skills given here in my life, from detoxing to even passing on the info I have been taught. I am a fibro sufferer but have self helped over many years to find cures that help me. Would you believe high protein diet heals the achey, sore muscles from the fibro pain. Makes sense really. Found that out by mistake. Process of elimination. As for spreading the human factor of giving, I do all the time. My last one was telling someone in front of me the car tyre was flat… she started crying because she’d just come from her dad’s funeral… so I changed her tyre for her. Took 15 min. She was so grateful… I just explained that we all can do little things to help and make people smile. The smile changes your bodies chemical structure and intern you smile.”
